Dr. Richard Frio, O.D.
Dr. Richard Frio graduated with his B.S. from St. Bonaventure University and O.D. from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
With over 40 years of private practice experience he is a member of the American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association and past president and member of the Central New York Optometric Association. He is an avid member of the North Syracuse – Liverpool Lions Club which reaches out to communities conducting early vision screenings to save sight. He has been recognized for various achievements in the field, including the New York State Optometric Association Public Service Award for the Give One Day Program. The NYS Optometric Association granted him a public service award for the Special Olympic’s Opening Eyes Program while he served as the New York State Clinical Director. In the late summer of 2024, he retired from the practice. |
